By the end of this course, students will:
D3.1 describe how structural changes take place in social institutions (e.g., family; religious insti­ tutions; legal, political, educational, and health sys­ tems; the military) in response to diverse influ­ ences (e.g., demographic or economic change, the growth of environmentalism, the introduction of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, social movements)
